Nikki Forde in action
Over the summer Boroughmuir pupil Nikki Forde,S4 played for the U16 Scottish Womens’ Basketball team which the won the C-division of the Basketball European Cup.

Golf Success
August 2010
Congratulations to S5 golfer, Ross Brydon, for winning the Lothian Boys Order of Merit. The Order of Merit runs over the summer with points awarded for results in selected Junior Open competitions. Ross came first in the Kilspindie, North Bewick and Uphall Junior Opens, tied first at Gullane and also picked up points at Glencourse and Turnhouse.
Over the summer he also won the Merchants Junior Open and the Brunstfield Links Junior Championship and was selected to play for Lothians Under 16s.

European Science Parliament
August 2010
The two students from Boroughmuir High School will represent their country at the European Science Parliament, which will meet in December.
Ailsa Bruce and Konain Ehsan, took part in the first ever Youth Science Parliament in June at the Edinburgh University, where they debated issues such as the use of embryonic stem cells. Now they are set to represent the Scottish Parliament as part of a science event being held in Brussels.
